What You’ll Do – Your Role with CARE
As an HVAC Installation Assistant, you’ll support our lead installers by prepping job sites, handling tools and materials, and ensuring top-quality service. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and perfect for someone ready to learn and earn their way forward.
Curiosity – Learn the trade from seasoned experts. Ask questions, observe techniques, and take advantage of every training opportunity.
Ambition – Show up ready to work and grow. Bring energy, initiative, and a willingness to master your craft.
Responsibility – Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe. Own your tasks and follow through.
Empathy – Treat customers’ homes with respect. Support your team with a positive, can-do attitude.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Assist lead technicians with residential HVAC installations
Load/unload equipment and prepare tools and materials
Help ensure all work is clean, code-compliant, and high quality
Interact professionally with homeowners and teammates
Maintain job site cleanliness and safety
Learn system basics and participate in manufacturer and in-house training
What You Bring
1-3 years of HVAC or mechanical experience (but attitude matters more than experience!)
A strong work ethic and the desire to learn a skilled trade
Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or in crawlspaces
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
A positive, team-focused attitude and a commitment to doing the job right
